The Cottage

Very spacious. Loads of room for us (four adults) to rattle around in. We were there in March and the weather wasn’t good enough to sit out in the large garden, but we did have a shot in the hot tub.

Can’t think of any negatives. This was a great let and met all of our needs.

Perfect for work or pleasure and spotless, the Christmas tree was a nice touch 👌 👍

Very comfortable beds, cosy living room area

The cottage was cosy, well equipped, spacious and extremely comfortable. The quiet and darkness added to the atmosphere and sense of escape. The piano was a gift.

Amazing home really beautiful. The host is very welcoming and will go out of her way to meet your needs. Its a great place to relax and unwind. The WIFI and signal isn't great so make sure you have things downloaded.

Huge property with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Each child could have their own room which was a win! I loved how the back garden with hot tub was secured with a fence and felt very private. Kitchen was well equipped. Hot tub was lovely. Piano was nice to have, although could be tuned. But I feel like that’s just being petty. Pool table was a great addition. We really liked this property. Host was very nice and responsive.

We really struggled with the lack of good wifi and data. We also couldn’t find the property as we arrived after dark and couldn’t pull up the listing on our phones because none of us had data. So it was a bit of a challenge all around with the wifi. Maybe it could be marked somehow with a wee light or something for guests outside so they know for sure they’re at the right place. It was hard to know where to park as well. The TV in the master bedroom is quite low and we both felt like we may hit my head on it numerous times. But everything else was just fine!

Nice location.

The internet either doesn’t work or is extremely slow. As the TV uses apps only, the TV was virtually unusable. There was a leak of water from the upstairs through the kitchen lights which the owner had not fixed from weeks before. The light switches for the kitchen light had to be taped off to prevent an electrical fault occurring. There were stains around the kitchen lights evidencing a prior leak(s). The kitchen was not well enough equipped and we had to ask for a frying pan, a can opener and more than one tea towel. The lid to the BBQ was broken. Give this property a miss.

The neighborhood was very friendly and the landlords were very helpful, the cottage was spacious and comfortable.

We suffered from the smell that came from the laundry room especially that the door to that room won’t close. Weak internet connection and no service. And the property could be cleaner.
