Palau Carolines Resort

It is a magical place surrounded by gorgeous nature. It’s not right in downtown Koror but that’s part of the charm. There are convenience stores nearby and even a fantastic restaurant just a short walk away. Getting around is super easy too — there’s a free daily shuttle, and most tour and dive companies will pick you up right from the hotel.

No pool, but you are welcome to go into town and use the sister hotels pool.

Beautiful views from the luxury tent we were generously upgraded to for our 2-night stay! We cannot say enough good things about the wonderful and helpful staff, the great breakfast brought straight to the balcony each morning, the thoughtful layout and amenities, the incredible copper soaking tub with hot water and rainshower overlooking the jungle (and ANOTHER rainshower on the balcony!!) and the amazing variety of birds and bats we saw from our perch over the rock islands. So grateful. We will be back as soon as our travels allow!

Very small details were amiss - the fridge was not running cold enough and smelled odd. Occasional power brown-outs so don't run all electronics and plugs at once. We love wildlife, but some may be bothered by the lively ants who decided to make a home in the toilet room. Please try to remember that you are very much in the jungle when staying here, and the level of amenities here is a total luxury!

Breakfast was great and filled us up for a full day of outings each day. The view from the balcony of our bungalow was spectacular, especially at sunset.

No beach access from property. There is a beach resort below it, but the beach is for their guests only.

The tent is very nice. Details of interior design are lovely.

Would be great if Hotel could offer more dining services like dinner or BBQ on the terrace. A small swimming pool would be great.

love love love the pristine natural surroundings.... we wanted to 'get away' from nightlife, etc., and just snorkel and relax. so Carolines was perfect for us. although, I can see why it may not suit everyone (no restaurant, no facilities, not easily a walking distance to anything in Koror or other - so you MUST have a CAR RENTAL. period.)

no restaurant - although WE LOVED the in-room breakfast every morning!! no facilities at all. Is not centrally located... no transport (Carolines van transport is not feasible for shopping)

Amazing view of sunsets from the bungalow. Waking up to breaktakjng view of the sun is amazing. Breakfast is served in the room everyday.

The property is undergoing renovations (did not affect my stay at all), but there is no restaurant nor pool on-property right now. Transport needs to be arranged for lunch/dinner. The staff is so friendly and quick to help with this so all was great!
