My partner and I checked in really late as we had to make quite a drive to get to Christchurch and Aki was extremely accommodating with this, they made sure to put processes in place for us to check in late. When we checked in, the room itself was fine, a very average motel room. It seemed tidy and clean enough. The problem came with the fact that the bathroom was left very dirty and we were forced to shower in the previous guests hair on the wall and what i can only assume was their boogers, absolutely disgusting and very off putting.
