Budapest Eye Residence

Very central location (close to a transportation hub, plenty of restaurants nearby), very spacious apartment, recently renovated, with high ceilings. Even though the apartment is in a very busy area, it is incredibly quiet even when sleeping with the windows open during summer.

The apartment was not very clean (dusty in many areas, bed linens questionably clean). Our host was very quick in rectifying this once we mentioned it to her, but, unfortunately, it should not have happened in the first place.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Budapest. Walking distance from everything. The owner is responsive and does his best to accommodate.

The bed was smaller than i would have liked and squeaks with any movement. The real problem was with the A/C, it was dripping continuously from the inside. Sent the owner a message and was informed that maintenance would come the next morning which they did. The problem was not solved and i was offered a refund for the last day if i decided to leave. I did not leave eventually but hope they fixed the A/C problem as it was very hard to sleep with the constant dripping as it is a lovely place and would be a shame to get a bad review over this.

The apartment was very central, clean and close to everything. The most disappointing thing was no Internet in the flat and we couldn't get in touch with the owner or with the family we went went our 3 grandchildren and we could not get in touch with the family. The first night the A/C didn't work well and it was very very hot didn't sleep the whole night as I said before we couldn't contact the owner of the flat, when she finally got in touch she said she would refund us the first night, but I haven't seen the refund yet. Apart from that our stay was nice.

The building was old and the lift was very small and frightening. The entrance gate was hard to open, and the code was changed without us knowing that until someone came and told us the code was changed and opened the main entrance, again if someone hadn't come by and told us the ode was changed and opened the gate for us who knows how long we would have been stuck outside. I think although being a flat there should have been someone there to meet us when we arrived to show us how to open the gate and show us around the flat, we were looking for a reception office to be told they were private flats and I don't know how long we would have been waiting out with 3 children (our grandchildren) and suitcases, luckily someone that lived there and saw us stranded outside and helped us otherwise who knows how long we'd have to wait and couldn't contact anyone. These things should be seen to.

Wifi did not work at all, for the whole time there. Tv is not really functional at all. Air con is leaking into a bucket creating a dripping sound whenever it’s on.

The apartment itself was very modern and nice, the location, just perfect. right in the heart of the city center, the budapest eye was accross the street. Spacious bathroom, nicely decorated livingroom and the other parts of the apartment.

I need to mention that the first impression was not very pleasant and this hasnt happened anywhere else where we traveled before. The checkin was at 4pm, which is ok, but the information about keys were received 15 minutes past 4. The person who comunicated with us has appologiezed however it was very unpleasant as we had the bags that we were suppose to drop much earlier and we had to carry them. Cant imagine traveling with kids and having this experience. Most of the other places where we stayed before share this info ahead of time. The bad wasnt very comfy, with every move you could hear the noises and the aircondiotion needs to be fixed, because there were watter dripping from it. I still rate this accomodation with number 9 althought I have some minuses I need to mention. Me and my friend we enjoyed the stay

The cosy apartment and utensils , the showers and its central location to almost everywhere.

The internet worked on day 1 but did not work for the next two days we stayed. The AC at the sofa area were leaking almost all the time. There weren't any bath liquid or shampoo provided at the shower.

The location was simply the best! The apartment itself is very nice designed and the shower is really a beauty!
