Location is very good. The staff are polite and helpful.

There's no hot water. It takes an hour for them to get a hot shower ready for you. And then flow is so weak and slow. I wouldn't recommend it at this stage.

Good value room. Good breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice rooftop bar and good events organised.

A little far from main attractions. Tuk tuk tour to 4 ancient cities expensive (but very good.)

"Typical hostel vibes"

Everything is okay, typical hostel vibes. Some of the staff are friendly and helpful some are not. The building is old, so the price is alright for what you get. I got a private room with bathroom. Just a word of advice, DO NOT book taxis with the hostel directly. We paid 260,000 for a private car from mandalay to Bagan. We asked the driver and they ONLY PAID him 170k so that means they TOOK and KEPT a HUGE commission!!! Almost 90k ???!? What kind of honest price is that??
