Milkwood Cabin Getaway

The ambience and location are excellent. The sounds of the sea and birds were most welcome. The chalet had everything we needed, from an air fryer to a blender. Access to the lagoon was a pleasure, and I particularly enjoyed sitting on the deck, looking at the lagoon and the hills beyond.

The only problem we experienced was the cramped lounge. I would recommend removing clutter and unnecessary items, such as the book rack.

The whole place needs a make over, the furniture and fittings are old and dated.

Het huis heeft echt liefde en aandacht nodig. Dingen die stuk zijn en nog niet vervangen, rare losse snoeren van stekkers, dekens die echt vies en oud zijn, kussens…. Een super leuk huis waar je echt een surfgevoel van krijgt maar wel als er even een beetje aandacht aan besteedt wordt.

Beautiful peaceful spot with amazing views, loved the wild horses and all the birdlife. Great that the rooms had fans, and enjoyed all the different decks down the garden. Nice to have the option of using the gas braai or braaiing outside.

The fridge was not very cold, but the freezer part worked fine. The kettle lid was broken. But otherwise everything was great.

The location was ideal with the mountain and lagoon in the background. We enjoyed the facilities. It is close to the sea and the mall. It was very peaceful

I enjoyed the overall scenery, I loved the view of the lagoon when waking up, one step out by the sliding door on the balcony, and you're met with the beautiful scenery. It was quiet, calm, and relaxing. Enjoyed the overall stay.
