Milkwood Cabin Getaway

Beautiful views and a lovely deck to sit on. Felt close to nature and right at the beach. Clean and tidy. Flocks of flamingos on the water every day.

Unfortunately, there is no kayak/canoe which we were expecting to have.

Nice modern timber bedrooms upstairs that open to the patio/balcony... Also it was extremely humid so the ceiling fans helped alot

We arrived just after 17H00 friday afternoon, the lady named Anchen that ive been in communication with was not there to meet us, her boyfriend however was. We could not cook on the gas stove as "the gas cylinder was stolen" they just never replaced it, so no gas cylinder connected- issue raised with Anchen however she claims her phone was broken but read all my watsups sent to her Eventually gas was connected the Saturday at 13H00 No additional toilet rolls in toilets, still the halfs left over from the previous occupants, also tried calling Anchen friday, however additional toilet rolls only arrived after 13H00 on Saturday Photos of room is misleading, e.g lounge is so small you cant fit 4adults in there. Bathrooms/toilets still had dead insects on floor, maybe they only clean once a year. As mentioned no communication with the lady in charge, never saw her face, did not have the proffesionalism to at least drive to see if everythings okay, since she claims her cell is broken, yet she reads all my messages... Had to google the owner in California USAdetails to get some matters reolved. Feel like i wasted my money... Been ill treated... Horrible customer service... All in all there is still people and places in our beautiful country that are racist if you not white, and money grabbing scammers

The location was amazing. Kitchen in unit well equipped.

Fire extinguishers need attention and no gas for grill so we had to swap gas between geyser and grill all the time

Amazing views from the cabin itself. Can sit there the hole day and look over the lagoon and mountains. Amazing bird life in the area. Hats of to Anchen and Alwyn. You can ask them anything and they will be up and ready to help. Hope to visit very soon again.

Kitchen utensils can be upgraded.
