The whole house very clean the children liked the gaming room which was a nice touch the views were amazing

What an amazing property with so many lovely details. The games room along with childrens toys and books provided lots of entertainment as did the walkie talkies and all the rooms to explore! We even found the hidden sweets. The host really has thought of everything and provided a beautiful home from home. The beds were also super comfy. It was a lovely base for us to explore Matlock. We will definately be back!

Take slippers as the kitchen floor gets very cold! If you have 2 cars with you, you may struggle to get both parked outside but we always found parking nearby.

What a great little house. Really good for a group of up to 6 as 2 living rooms with the kitchen and games room on the lower ground (ground level at the back) and the bedrooms on the 1st & 2nd floors. I could be in the kitchen in the morning and not worry about waking anyone up. We loved the decor and the games room was such fun. We were a group with 3 older teenagers and they loved this room. Location was good although we drove everywhere anyway. Found parking within a few steps of the house at all times too. We didn't use the outdoor space as the weather was pretty dire but it looked really cute. The airfryer in the kitchen was very welcome and used a lot.

The only small negative was the kitchen was quite cold (it was a freezing weekend) - the rest of the house was toasty though. I took some cushions down to use with the kitchen chairs as they were metal and if a dishwasher could be squeezed in somewhere that would be great! There are a lot of stairs so this property may not suit the less able.

When we arrived, it was dark so it was nice that the owner had left a few lights left on and the house was cosy and warm, which was so nice after our long journey. Very thought out little touches all around the house, and we loved our welcome basket. All rooms had extra blankets and were so comfortable. The location was amazing and very quiet.. was perfect to get away from busy city life and to relax with family..

We loved the views, the equipment provided, the Christmas decorations, the welcome.hamper, the games room the cleanliness and the attention to detail.

Kitchen was a bit cold and there was no dishwasher - but that's being really picky. Overall it was still brilliant.
