Really quirky house. Very comfortable and clean. Great location.

A great house, warm and cosy. Lots of room, everything you could need for your stay. The beds were very comfortable, loved the stylist toilet in the top room. The welcome basket was a nice touch too. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was beautiful with superb views. It was a real home from home. The welcome note and the welcome hamper were much appreciated. There were lovely walks on the doorstop. The games room was brilliant! One of the best houses we have stayed in.

Fantastically quirky, well decorated and well equipped house. Lovely views, well thought out space, plenty to keep the kids entertained and even a nice outside space to the back.

Parking was a struggle sometimes but did not detract from the stay, the owner had given clear instructions on options of where to park which was helpful.

Nothing really - it‘s on a hill so walking anywhere is consistent with that, but we knew that when we booked it!

We had everything we needed

Nice view from some windows. Decent kitchen but with no dishwasher. Game room was fun. Nice house with nice renovation, decoration and lots of cool corners to hang out. Good shutters and curtains, which properly darken the rooms. Kitchen has plenty of utensils. Hot water was good. Car parking was easy in front of the house during the evenings. Good location at an easy drive distance to activities in Peak District.

Having one bathroom only was a bit of a problem. My search was for minimum two bathroom properties so it was unexpected for me to find one bathroom only on and only on one of the floors in a house spread over 4 floors. Also, only two towels left and both of these were in upstairs bedroom, which I didn't know and had to use a hand towel after shower. I got also a bit confused with recycling. There are several notes asking to recycle, which I wanted to oblige but couldn't find the blue black bin mentioned. In the end I used the black bin for general garbage. Much later I realised this was actually for recycle and there was another smaller bin under the sink. None of these were big issues though.
