Beautiful house with amazing homely touches. Everything catered for

Very comfortable and all the thoughtful touches made us feel really at home. The host Clare was very responsive and has obviously made great efforts with the design and amenities. Be aware house is on 4 floors and there’s a steep hill down to town but two very good local bars.

Unfortunately the downstairs loo was out of action due to previous guests! Would have rated 10 if it had been working.

The property was lovely and clean, excellent decor and facilities. Perfect for our family with teenagers.

We struggled with only one bathroom as a family of 5 but appreciate the downstairs toilet had been broken prior to our visit. We struggled to park on an evening if we moved the car after teatime and couldn't find an alternative parking place in the vicinity.

Location was on the edge of Matlock so easy to drive in and out - good views from the house . Walking distance of a few pubs.

The property is in a fantastic location close to all amenities and has beautiful views

Stairs are a little steep but thats part if the character of the type of building

The property is very clean and there was a little care package left for us with chocolates, wine, and even dog treats for our golden. Everything was prepared and Clare was only a message away, she also let us know when we could arrive and when we needed to leave which was really helpful. The property is perfectly located for lots of walks, we went to Bakewell (20minutes away) and in between Buxton and Leek for some amazing dog walks.
