Great for a weekend trip to York. The property is cosy and has everything you may need for a visit to the area. 5 minutes walk from the nearest bus stop which takes you straight into the centre of York.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic.House looked great.Very functional layout.Everything you need for any length of stay supplied by owners.We especially apriciated all little touches of Christmas decor.Allinformations you will need provided in handy folder written for you conviniemce.Very quiet surroundings and peacefully evenings.Would fully recommend as a base to see York and area.

The property was very clean and cosy, we got a message on the morning we were due to arrive to let us know arrival times and the key code etc. When we arrived there was tea, coffee, biscuits and milk. We were messaged to advise the heating was on a timer but to override this if it got cold as we unfortunately were there during a storm! Folder with instructions on how to use everything. The property is a short drive or bus ride from York so ideal for visiting sites/Christmas Markets. They do allow dogs at an extra cost, you do have to let them know in advance.

The property is at the back of a residential property off a very busy main road. There is nowhere close by to walk dogs without driving as the road is so busy. The property was a little drafty, however there were plenty of blankets provided, unfortunately this doesn't help when the draft comes from the roof window of a night I.e. your head gets a bit cold. The bed wasn't very comfortable, but that could be because we're quite spoilt at home with our bed?? There isn't much not to like to be honest, it was a nice place albeit a little chilly at times, we couldn't find the remote for the fire which would have been nice to put on.

Owners were very accommodating, lovely little holiday home, clean and cosy. Not to far from the centre but far enough for a quiet, cosy night away from the hectic mess of the centre, perfect for our toddler. We will definitely stay again!

I've stayed in many places in York and this was one of the nicest in terms of facilities, comfort and thoughtful gestures from the host. Highly recommend and will stay again.
