Fifth Milestone Annexe

It was clean and all facilities needed were there. We arrived a little earlier than we thought and we were able to get in early. We really appreciated this. We had private parking and then to go into York there was a park and ride facility not far along the road.

Not close enough to walk for an evening meal but we were able to shop and more than happy to have a couple of nights in.

A very nice cozy little house. Clean, lovely and comfortable! We spent a very nice weekend here, the location is very good because the quiet area and to the city center nearby.

We were warmly greeted and the annexe was easy to locate and super clean inside. There was ample parking and a lovely outdoor seating area. The main bed was comfortable and the sleeper couch would be fine for young children. The kitchen was well stocked to cook for yourself.

Beautiful family who were so attentive since we met. Everything you need , property had it. Not far from to city centre of York so it was great to park our car and drive there easily.

Very private little annexe, the hosts were great, greeted us and asked was there anything we needed. There is a folder full of information with everything from how to use things within the annexe, places to eat/takeaway, how to get to different places from this address etc. The private garden was stunning and great for our little dogs. Bus stop 5 min walk, park and ride 6 min drive (definitely recommend rather than park in York). Very clean, everything you need in there, kitchen with all utensils, large comfy bed, sofa bed, tv, bbq outside (we didn't use) a home away from home basically.

It is on a main busy road, you can't hear any of the traffic at all, just during busy periods can be a pain to pull out of, which can't be helped. Nothing else at all, couldn't fault it.

Beautiful little annexe with everything you need. Gorgeous decor and spacious patio. King bed which is very comfortable.

Unfortunately my daughter found the sofa bed very uncomfortable.

Exceptionally clean when we walked in, very cosy. Fully equipped with what we needed for a few night stay.

WiFi was very intermittent at certain times in the day. We did discuss this with the owners.

The property had everything you needed. It was small but well equipped. It was as described.

I travelled with my adult daughter so gave her the bed upstairs. I slept downstairs on the sofa bed and it wasn't very comfortable but I guess they usually aren't great. The shower water pressure was not good. There was a lot of light coming in, in the morning.

Excellent location a few miles from York city centre.
