The accommodation was lovely comfortable clean everything you need for a few days away plus you had parking right next to house little fenced off garden with seating be lovely in the summer months & hosts were very helpful if needed

It was good value for money. Nicely decorated and clean. Comfortable bed.

The lighting was mainly strip lighting or spotlights: all controlled from a panel by the front door, even the main upstairs lights. Therefore at nighttime, the last person had to make their way up the open wooden staircase in the dark, which was dangerous. The only light was from the bedside table light, which didn’t illuminate the staircase so we had to use our phone torch, not ideal if carrying something else. We went to the wrong cottage, as both cottages are the Fifth Milestone Cottages. They really need to put up a sign.

Beautiful annexe in a fantastic location, just 10 minutes drive away from York Centre and an hour drive from Bridlington.

It can be a little hard to find as it's on a main (fast moving) road.

Very cozy and well presented. Nice and convenient for York, 5 minutes from the park and ride.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully decorated annex. The location is perfect just a few minutes from the park and ride. The place was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. It was a little tricky to find the turning off the busy road at night (especially the night we checked in the street lights weren’t working), but John was incredibly kind and came out with a torch to guide us. Sarah was also very helpful with our questions Overall, a fantastic stay. We’d happily return and recommend here to our friends!

If they ever want to make small improvements, I’d suggest adding a stair mat as the steps can be a bit slippery, and perhaps a small sign or light at the turning to make it easier to spot in the dark Otherwise everything was perfect

Lovely stay. Well equipped and private. Very clean. Hosts were helpful and pleasant. Just a really nice place to stay. As you approach take it slow to make sure you see the turning onto the property as you can miss it.

The property was clean, had everything we needed and was in a great location for us. Detailed instructions were sent and easy to follow and we were greeted by the host when we arrived. It was a perfect place for a group of 3 girls. Thank you!

There was a little hole in the roof where wasps kept getting in so it may need looking at.

It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for two nights. Easy to access, good space to park car.

The only problem was the light switch for the bedroom area which was on the main console downstairs.
