Maruan Sari

I love the home-y feels of the place. There are quiet common areas where we get to do some work and have meals. The place has hot water and although there was no hairdryer at first but when we requested for it, the hosts went to buy it for us. The breakfast was really nice, loved the local options! The host occasionally offered us some tea and cakes to have while we are working, which was really lovely!

I think it would be good if the property could change the towel on daily basis but otherwise we can always request for change of towel as well.

The garden and the buildings are amazing, the service was also 5*. Our breakfast was perfect, we had special needs, and we got what we need and more. We rented a motorbike and bike there too, Ubud is close to this place but far enough to enjoy peace and nature.

Excellent, quiet location amidst rice fields. The premises are about 50 meters away from the road, which is a dead end so there's hardly any traffic. The owner is extremely friendly and went above and beyond to give us a perfect stay. We loved it here!

It’s the perfect spot to stay if you want somewhere well priced and in a quiet neighbourhood, only a short scooter ride away from the hustle and bustle.

If you are after typical balinese stay in ubud then look no further. Maruan sari comes in the list, comfort environment with exceptional service. Beautiful garden with family temple makes you more relaxing. Must try their BALINESE RICE for a breakfast, what a absolute. Best balinese breakfast ever tried before. Room service on high priority from owner which made the stay more enjoyable and comfortable. You can actually rent a scooter from owner aswell no need to go outside and bargain the price.

Stunning rice fields accompanied with very friendly hosts and a super comfortable room. I loved the spacious room so much. The garden is incredibly beautiful and peaceful which is perfect for meditation related purposes too.
