You need a scooter or driver if you not just stay in the hotel and rely on grab/gojek for dinner and a ride to ubud center can take even on a scooter takes up to 45min for ~10km

The grounds and setting for the property are sensational. The breakfasts were very good and the staff were lovely.

The bathroom in the smaller room of the 2 rooms we booked is a little on the small side but still met our needs.

The breakfast was given a personal touch and Mrs devi, had a passion for cooking, she was never reluctant to cook.My son unfortunately got hurt, so the entire family took great care of him.

because we were vegetarian, so there were slightly less choices, but overall she made best efforts to give the best possible food.

We liked everything from the moment we arrived! Dewi is such a great host and her house is really perfect. We had delicious breakfasts cooked daily, a nice pool to cool down and she helped us organise a tour as well. It’s beautiful and quiet around, really a fantastic spot in Ubud.

Host is beyond. You will meet truly Balinese/Indonesian hospitality. Lovely Balinese house and flowers around the garden, could not get enough abt flowers. Breakfast is tasty. We had a great time. Will be back in the future☘️💗 Note: need more mineral water at the kitchen.

We had a very pleasant and friendly reception. The rooms and pool were very clean, and everyone was extremely kind, going above and beyond to help us. The breakfast was diverse, very tasty, and plentiful, sufficient to last until dinner. The surrounding area is very peaceful with scenic views, especially at dusk. As a family of four, we used Grab cars for going around and it was still very accessible, however, it's perfect if you use a scooter. We definitely highly recommend it.

Our host was exceptional. Always willing to help and very cheerful. Organized scooter hire, airport transfer, massage. Varied breakfast options and huge portions. Absolutely wonderful. Room and ensuite are both large. Private kitchenette to use. Peaceful setting

Location is a little far away from the action. There are several restaurants within a 10 minute walk but shops and cafes are much further. However, if you want peaceful and tranquil, this is the place for you...

First of all, I love the owner/ auntie Dewi, she's so caring ♥️ I love Manik and her mom and lil sister and the bellman who helped me carry my big/heavy suitcase in the evening 27/6/2024 as well, they are so friendly, lovely and helpful ♥️ Second, they upgraded me to a deluxe room which is big with excellent view, it would be perfect if you stay there on time for rice paddies 🌾 The swimming pool and the garden are beautiful as well 🌺🌸 They served good breakfast (included in room charge which is so reasonable) right to your room. I'd love to come back Maruan Sari next time and many times in near future. Highly recommend for natural-lovers 💚
