The best part was opening the doors and watching the sunset over the water from the accommodation. Being able to virtually dive into the water from the room was an incredible experience. Our host was also exceptional and worked very hard.

The mattress wasn't very comfortable.

Location is amazing! But bit weird that they bring your luggage at the flat for check in but not for check out with all the money the accomodation coat

This is a once in a lifetime stay. We stayed for 3 nights in this gorgeous fisherman's village and loved every minute of it. It was serene with peaceful water landscapes which helped us fall asleep every night. The water trickles up to your doorstep and you can sit outside and watch the boats and birds go by. The converted boat shed was somewhat basic but the shower and bathroom looked new and stylish. The renovated boat shed was exactly what you would expect it to be. After all, you don't come to stay inside the boat shed, you come to see the views and sit outside on the deck chairs. When we arrived Dimitri greeted us and showed us to the room whilst another man carried our bags in a wheelbarrow to the room. Each morning we had coffee and breakfast delivered by a nearby cafe (called Monk, highly recommend and you can pay via EFTPOS) which meant we could sleep in and drink our coffee next to the ocean. If you read the other reviews they will mention how remote it is, how slippery it is, how basic it is and whilst those things may be true so some degree, it is all proportionate to what you get back. Some other reviews complained about the water coming into the room but we never had that problem.

The bed mattress was not comfortable. I would suggest the property owner buy a new one as this was the biggest downfall.

Great location and pretty village

Perfect Location. Restaurant adjacent to property was fantastic. Great walks close by to Ancient Theatre of Milos and old holy chapel. Friendly people living along the shoreline.

The apartment looks as it does in the photos - very nicely renovated with everything we need. It was spacious and comfortable. The location was excellent (except proximity to the water - see below). The hosts were very responsive.

This accommodation is completely unsuitable for guests. Do not stay here. We were here for 5 nights and every single day, the waves from the beach would come into the property and flood the whole place. It was definitely worse on windy days, but even on calm days, the ocean water would flood in under the door. Every day, we would come back to the accommodation after a day out adventuring, and every day there would be ocean water and seaweed throughout the apartment, sometimes as far back as the bed. We were sweeping and mopping constantly. It was incredibly stressful and we couldn’t relax. I can’t believe other reviews haven’t mentioned this. When we spoke to the hosts, they told us to “stop complaining”. They were very rude and unhelpful. The location is great and the amenities were great, but this flooding problem completely ruined it for us, and the rudeness of the hosts made it worse. Do yourself a favour. Stay somewhere else.

Staying right on the water was very magical. The whole place is very peaceful and quiet. The sunsets were amazing. We appreciated the beach towels and we received a nice bottle of wine and some snacks.

We were a bit shocked when we arrived and had to follow the man with our luggage in a wheelbarrow. The walk over the rocks wasn’t comfortable and we didn’t realise that we were quite isolated. Apart from a restaurant there are no other shops nearby. We had to use taxis to get around.
