Dunoon Gourock Inverkip Apartment

New and good sized furniture and furnishings. Ok location. Very diligent property contact who responded quickly over a weekend. Recently refurbished however a lot needs to be looked into.

Firealarm beeping every 40 seconds. No lock in bathroom. Mice droppings found. Toilet and bathtub is not safe, specially for senior citizens and specially abled people. WiFi is not reliable. No coat Hangers or hooks. Wonky floorboard. Some fittings are unpacked with price tags hanging whereas some fittings are missing.

First of all about the property owner, she is kind of rude when contacted through phone to inform about the faults in appartment.. Pasaage waa not clean leading to appartment. Bathroom lock was not fitted properly, so washing, toileting and all do at your own risk... Broken table was placed in kitchen. The most funny thing is regarding WI-FI, she was sitting somewhere in the town and sending pictures of some WiFi which we wont find in appartment and was telling go outside appartment and search for wifi, really irritating such kindof behaviour.... Never experienced such a bad stay ever..Happiness score -2/10.. Please dont accomodate or allow tgese kind of appartments in booking. Com. It will loose reputation of booking. Com also, id tgey cant promise minimal satisfaction to customers when paying hundreds of Pounds foe stay.. Please requesting booking. Com to takeout these kind of appartmemts

Location is walking distance to the train and ferry stations.

No dish soap or hand soap. There are plates and silverware however no way to clean them. There are pots and pans but no cooking utensils in order to use them. Has washer but no dryer, or clothes line - clothes had to hang all over the house to dry. Advertised free wifi - no secure wifi. Shower is a wand that is pulled up from the tub., no shower walls, so really, no shower.

Comfy beds nice fittings bonus to have use of washing machine excellent location

One of the bedroom doors wouldn't unlock when my daughter locked it from the inside and she couldn't get out we had to get her to climb out of the window, and we wasn't able to get back in that bedroom. Everything else was good.

Description said sea view but it faced a very busy road The sea was not even seen from this ground floor property. Location of the property was a bit creepy at night. The main entrance door to the building had a code lock that could not be locked and remained open throughout. We had a knock on the door in the middle of the night from an unknown person thus causing the family to be extremely scared. As it was immediately facing the street windows and blinds had to be kept shut all the time Bare minimum utensils were provided No Microwave, No toasters, No clothes drying rack, No Hoover, No cleaning cloth or mops, No cleaning or washing materials Wifi reception non functional No dishwashers

It’s is in very good location near to night music Bar .nice clean rooms and bathroom is big enough with bathtub . Hall and kitchen is quite large with 7seaters sofas .

Quietness cleanses and location and price

The apartment was pleasant but there were a few issues. Quite spacious. Did what we needed. A lot of lamps. If the owners could address the issues it would be a great place to stay. The apartment is close to some lovely areas.

The apartment looked like it needed finishing. A lot of the cupboards contained building / decorating materials. Cupboard doors were left unattached to the units. Facilities provided varied. The cutterly drawer contained a few plastic spoons, nothing else. There was not enough plates and cups for everyone staying. It said towels provided however there was 3 for an apartment that sleeps 7. One of the beds had no bedding on it and no spare bedding or blankets were provided. The apartment said there was wifi which was not the case. When i messaged the owner about this no response was given. Plastic over the lighting made the place look like it was part way through being set up. Or a crime scene.

was a place to sleep the night that’s all i can say and the view of the sea is nice 2 mins drive

no wifi no tv no fairy washing liquid no mop for toilet very dodgy entrance and dirty front door you could easily kick through as it wasn’t a proper front door

There was no hot water. Even if there had been hot water, the bath had no plug so I could not bathe. The shower hose was not long enough to allow for comfortable showering and there was no bracket on the wall. There was no a shower screen, so I would have soaked the bathroom while taking a shower. There was a pungent smell of cigarette smoke in the main bedroom. The bins had not been emptied. The fridge had not been emptied. The carpet in the living room had not properly been cleaned. The bathroom wall above the bath was not clean. There was an insufficient amount of crockery. The fundamentals of overnight accommodation are a pleasant place to sleep and clean bathing facilities. The flat offered neither.
