Bahari Beach Bungalows

Very cozy and beautiful property. Very stylish bungalows. We fell in love with this place. The staff is friendly. Everyone worries about you and does their best. Property stays right on the beach, there are some sunbeds and tables also. Beach is very good (if you consider tides). You can walk around by hours. Breakfasts were delicious. Also we had launches and dinners here because the food is really great and price is fair. I believe this restaurant is the best in Jambiani. So, I strongly recommend to stay here. I believe you will not regret.

Just one thing. Our bungalow (kifaru) doesn’t have glass windows, just a mosquito net (however others have). And it is placed very close to the road and village. So it was a bit noisy in the mornings and it was difficult for me to wake up later than 5-6 am

The location is very good on the Jambiani Beach. All staff people are very kind, the room is very clean and the restaurant has amazing options of food and drinks!

The room doesn’t have air conditioning and the weather in Zanzibar is very hot, so the room was like an oven. There are fans above the beds but they are not enough to make the room’s temperature comfortable. However, if you don’t mind about it, this is a good option!

Stefania and the staff were incredible hosts. It was my birthday during my stay and they went above and beyond. The food at the resturaunt was amazing; the pasta and the pizzas were really tasty. Breakfast amazing. We booked our tours via Stefania and we really really enjoyed them. The companies providing the tours were prompt and provided some unforgettable days out. The tours we did were mtende, pungume and maalum, and we would recommend all 3, they were really all spectacular and very well organised, luckily these areas weren’t too busy either so a lot of it we got just to ourselves which was brilliant. We’d particularly recommend pungume - snorkelling with fish, starfish, the most beautiful clear turquoise sea and golden sandbanks, fresh beach bbq. All 3 trips however were to amazing places. We were so lucky to be in such close proximity to all 3!! As for the accommodation itself, we stayed in a beach bungalow which was extremely clean, with comfy beds, fantastic decor and despite it being the hot season cool enough to sleep with the fans. It was right next to the beach which made it easy to go to and from the accommodation. The beach area itself had an amazing relaxed atmosphere, we often spent our time in the evenings just relaxing there watching the sunset and the world go by. Bahari is located literally on the beach so we could be within the boundary of the hotel but still experience it. A lot of the local families live close by and it’s really nice to be able to experience Zanzibar in a more authentic way. Every evening there’s football games on the beach which are fun to watch. At night the stars look amazing. Thank you once again Stefania and the team. We have genuinely never wanted to return somewhere more!! It was amazing

There were a few ants in the bathroom (it is an outdoor bungalow so this is expected), but only very few and they never caused any bother. Easily resolved with bug spray which was provided in the room.

The place is located in a quite relaxed beach at south of paje. The staff are very friendly and the owner was always open to take care. Fantastic pizzas made in total italian way with fresh local products. We advice everyone that goes to Jambiani or Page to at least stop at the restaurant for their magnificent pizza. We fully recommend the place.

We really loved our stay there! The room is comfortable and clean, the spot is breathtaking and Stefania and all the staff are super nice and helpful. We really liked the vibe!

This place is paradise - nice staff, Stefania and her mom are lovely, doesn't feel too crowded, limited number of beach boys around and lots of access to Jambiani Beach, good cocktails/food (especially pizza, of course) at the restaurant. Exactly what my wife and I needed for a few days and nights of pure relaxation
