Here you taste an incredible sweetness of life, it's like being at home, feet in the sand and the sublime changing colors of the Indian Ocean in front of you for scenery… This place at human scale offers 6 pretty rooms, spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, arranged under the shade of two high trees. Stefania, an amazing woman coming from Italy who has invested herself a lot during 15 years in creating and growing this little paradise, manages everything with care, love and a beautiful spirit (the one i love, anyway), her mom by her side now. All the staff is charming, always smiling and caring. Nothing but happiness. The restaurant is very good and varied, and the breakfast, generous, is so delicious !! At the end of the day, the beach becomes very lively, with happy kids, graceful girls, warm families from the village… I definitely didn't want to leave Bahari Bungalows. @Stefania : i would « only » come back for your mango-coconut milk shakes 😄 A deep thanks for allXXX

Everything!! The room was well decorated, comfortable, big, the garden was clean and tidy... The area was quiet and just in front of the sea. We could hear the waves from the bed. Stefania was really helpful, gave us some useful tips and the day we left she let us check-out later than expected. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of variety, delicious homemade jam and smoothies and very abundant. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They ensured we had a nice stay and they kept cleaning all the corners of the hotel and the restaurant. The enjoyed the pizzas at the restaurant! We would really recommend it! Thanks for everything :) We felt like at home!

Everything was just perfect! We could not ask for a better experience. Great location, friendly staff, impeccable cleaning, excellent cottages beach front. The food was the best we ever eat in any of the properties we stayed. Stefania and her mother are the best! They are truly committed to the island and their traditions and employ an amazing team of well trained staff!

Really lovely place! Very tastefully designed bungalows right next to a gorgeous beach. The bar/restaurant has a good selection of drinks and excellent food. Stefania runs the place and she was fantastic as were her staff. She was extremely friendly and welcoming and she was super helpful in arranging transport etc. Many thanks Stefania!

Lovely beach front location. The owner, Stefania, was really friendly and helpful, always on hand if you needed help planning a trip out. Great Swahili and Italian food on offer. Building is in keeping with the environment style. Room was simple but very comfortable.

It seems like everything was perfectly placed and very functional. The owner Stefania was very nice and so was her staff, especially Abra and Aham. We liked it that it’s quiet and the food was delicious.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming. We were able to fully relax and felt like we were right at home. We watched the sunrise, swam on the beach, lounged under the umbrellas, played cards, read books, searched for shells and enjoyed the pole pole vibe. We quickly abandoned our ideas of exploring the island because we were enjoying hanging out at Bahari so much. The food is also delicious. The included breakfast was generous and we were big fans of the pizza and smoothies later in the day. We took advantage of the massage service which was very nice. Prices were fair. We would definitely visit again.

The bed was a bit short for us and firmer than I prefer. But we slept well a bit diagonal :)
