Charming 3 Bed Steps from Redcar Beach & Station

I absolutely love how tasteful and beautiful this house has been decorated and furnished. It is spotlessly clean and the host instantly replies to any messages or queries making you feel really welcome in her beautiful house. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Redcar now.

It was in a great location, just around the corner from the beach (which was beautiful and not rocky at all!). Really liked that it had a washing machine, which was very helpful with two young children.

Could do with more pegs, and the washing machine didn’t do ‘cool’ if you set it on a colder wash but luckily we didn’t wash anything that could shrink

Super comfortable beds, the extra touches like specialist coffees and biscuits where lovely! Having parking permits sorted by the host was so helpful, too! And only a few minutes' walk to the beach!

Honestly, everything was spot on! Having a bathroom downstairs may be an issue for some, but honestly, the house was wonderful, comfortable, cosy, and so welcoming!

Everything from arriving onwards emily cottage was in a prime spot quiet stonethrow away from sea town centre was lovely the beacon arcades beach the food and the cottage was spotless and the owner was polite and helpful she lets us store are luggage till we could get in at 2 oclock which was absolutely great to allow us to explore even the race meeting getting called off didnt dampen are mood

I very much enjoyed my stay at pretty Emily Cottage which I found exceptional value. It was scrupulously clean and equipped with everything you might need to self cater. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud of comfort. All the rooms had thick carpets and were beautifully and imaginatively furnished in modern style with sea side decoration themes. Parking was easy and the street itself was very quiet at night. It was a little gem of a refuge and when I return in warmer weather , I look forward to venturing into the walled yard area at the back with its lighting and motifs . What was truly special about the cottage was the care over detail and the owner's obvious desire to create a holiday atmosphere.
