Close to the beach and parking available.

Could do with curtains in the main bedroom. The other bedrooms have this, but the main bedroom does not. Even at night it isn’t dark.

Very close to all amenities Just an around lovley clean comfy cottage Will definitely come and stay again ☺️☺️

All our visit at Emily Cottage was absolutely brilliant. We could not ask for more! Beautiful and cosy place to stay even for longer than a couple of nights. Beds are extremally comfy... My family of 5 had enough space to enjoy ourselves together and to have some privacy too. We have had great communication with Juliet - host. If we will plan our visit to Redcar in the future that would be definitely same place to stay in. Thank you Juliet :)

Emily’s cottage is a lovely little cottage. It has been really nicely decorated with little added extras like a chess set. It has a cute little garden.

As a family of three adults we like to find homes from home when we travel. Emily Cottage is exactly that. Bundles of facilities, oodles of charm and so many extra touches that make it head and shoulders above the average holiday let. Very shortly after booking, Juliet the lovely owner was in touch with us, communication was exceptional. Upon arrival the process of key collection and moving in was easy. The cottage is breathtakingly beautiful. It is a Victorian period property with high vaulted ceilings and quirky floors. The owners eye for detail and love of interior design is very apparent throughout with a retro vintage tea room/Parisian boudoir chic style. Lovely unique framed art work and prints decorate the walls through out. Thick soft carpets are fitted in each room and lovely soft fluffy towels placed on each beautifully dressed bed. The rooms are super large and airy with lots of natural light. The bathroom and kitchen are new as is the boiler and washer, and pretty much everything else. The television is large screened and has netflix which kept us all entertained! I confess to doing one of the jigsaws that are thoughtfully provided and reading one of the books too! Pretty much everything you need is in the cottage. We had no trouble with parking. The central heating soon made the recently aired rooms toasty and warm. Sofas and arm chairs again all new, lovely and comfy. The bedrooms are spacious with good storage space and the beds are like giant comforting clouds after a hard days sight seeing. The cottage is literally a two minute walk to the center of the large bustling town of Redcar and the bus station! Even the outside of the property is decorated with seaside memorabelia and cushions, yet functional with outdoor seating and tables and washing line! All in all our three night stay was wonderful and I shall certainly look out for other properties owned by Juliet and her team. A credit to Booking.com!

This is an easy question .....We didn't like shutting the pretty corn flower blue door and saying goodbye to Emily and ending our holiday. We could easily have stayed for three more days and visited all the fabulous coastal resorts for just £2 on the bus! But seriously, there wasn't anything that spoiled our vacation.

Comfy beds, clean welcoming house, the babies loved playing with the toys.

The bath tap took some figuring out and hot/cold water was unreliable for the shower.
