The owner seemed more concerned with her horses escaping than willing to help. The driveway is very steep and despite telling her that I have back problems she failed to open the gate so that my lift could come in and load my suitcase. The place was very stuffy as many windows cannot be opened. The shower grouting was mouldy and the Venetian blind in the bathroom very dirty. The water dispenser in the fridge was empty and there was no sign of any fruit which was specifically mentioned in booking.com The lock on the front door was very difficult to operate.

Hostest was amazing, and the unit was stunning the only problem I had was with the terrible reeking smell of cat pee in the unit. As you walk in, you are greeted by the funk that almost chocks you

The load noises in the morning, sounded like those people were stomping around the house

Great quiet location, friendly owners, great shower, comfortable bed, cute animals on the farm.

Not much

The bed was comfortable and clean, Kirsten was friendly and helpful and the animals were cute. When we had issues with the remote/tv the male host (we did not get his name) came to help us at 9h30pm and we appreciated that.

1. The freezer was absolutely frozen, we wanted to put ice cream in there and we couldn't open a single shelf 2. Couch was lumpy/smaller, (not as pictured), not comfortable and dirty. The place had a musty smell as if it hadn't been aired out & it had not been cleaned, it needed a good scrubbing. There were also cob webs in some corners. 3. The shower floor had black stuff splattered up the walls (I advise shower shoes if you chose to book here). Some of the things in the bathroom and bedroom were a bit dirty as well. 4. We had some issues turning on the TV and the Netflix box and remote, also some advice, if you want to comfortably watch TV, bring the bed in to the lounge and use the couch as a head rest. 5. The electricity went out at about 3am so the fan stopped working and our phones/appliances stopped charging and when we wanted to warm up some food we had left over, we could not. It was close to us leaving so we didn't enquire but we expected the hosts to let us know the power was out and why.

The lounge and kitchen are very spacious. Kitchen very well equiped. The location nearby shopping centres. Distance to Humewood beach between 10 and 15 minutes drive.
