Leeds Kelso

We arrived at the apartment to find it in a very run down part of Leeds. A lot of rubbish and graffiti on surrounding properties. All of the surrounding properties had signs in the windows and on the walls warning security cameras in operation. Most properties including no. 35 had metal railings over doors, some also had them on windows. Signs everywhere stating parking permits in operation. We did not feel that we our our belongings would be safe, so we left without checking in. Informed Kelso apartments. Checked into a hotel instead.

The property was very clean and well furnished. Very good shower.

Quiet area away from the main roads. Easy access to the city centre. Very comfortable and spacious apartment with beautiful design, modern furniture. Quite clean , but not perfect. Excellent heating. Well equipped kitchen.

We were informed in advance that the code box with the keys did not work. We agreed on a time when we would arrive and be given the keys. But we had to wait an additional 20 minutes until we received the keys. For the entire waiting time, the host did not respond to messages and phone calls. I also want to note that despite the presence of a dishwasher, there were no dishwasher tablets available. The oven cannot be used because all the signs on the control panel have been erased, it seems, after a thorough cleaning. So it is not clear which temperature to set and which mode to choose. Except of that, our stay there was great.

Property was very clean and had everything we needed.

Very nice apartment in perfect location to visit university and city centre.

Only complaint is that I could not work out how to adjust the heating and it did get cold late in the evening and early morning. There is no pack in apartment with instructions for appliances.
