Wir kamen abends an, bekamen kurz das Zimmer gezeigt und sahen danach kein Personal mehr. Das erste Zimmer roch stark nach Zigarettenrauch, das Bad war stark verschimmelt und aus der Klimaanlage lief Wasser. Ein Zimmerwechsel war erst am nächsten Tag möglich, nachdem der Schimmel notdürftig entfernt und überstrichen wurde, was das Problem nicht wirklich löst. Das Ersatzzimmer war für die zweite Nacht in Ordnung. Etwas enttäuscht waren wir auch von Booking.com, da wir den Vorfall gemeldet haben, jedoch keine Rückmeldung erhielten.

We loved the spacious room and the fact that we had a full kitchen to make use of... such close proximity to everything that Stone Town has on offer... everything is in walking distance!

There was nothing we didn't like! We felt very at home, safe and comfortable... and we felt like we were in an old house from days gone by...

We had booked the entire house for 5 of us. Location in the stone town is very convenient with restaurants and beach within 5 min walking distance. We needed a vegetarian restaurant and Krishna food house fulfilled our needs! The building appears to be an old house from outside. But the interior is spacious and aesthetic

One of the bath rooms has a very slow running shower.

Large room, very clean, friendly people, instant reply to messages, helpful, perfect location!!! Very good deal for the money!!!

Good location for beach access and protection from winds that can be a problem particularly farther north up the coast. The Retaurant next door offers free sun loungers and 10% discount on food/drink for Cocolala guests. Staff are all super good and kind. Tours offered by Cocolala are all very good. Especially the free village tour — you just give a donation for the food truck that gives handouts every few weeks.

We liked everything about that place. Perfect location, spacious room, everything was clean and nice decorated. We felt very comfortable and the staff and the owner have been very kind. We will for sure come back to this place 🙏🏽❤️✨

The room in Vintage house was very good, very spacious. Appreciated having our own private bathroom, which was very nice. The shared part of the residence was very large and welcoming. The kitchen had everything needed to cook for yourself. The staff that look after this place are fantastic. At check in all was explained well. During our stay, they checked to make sure we had all we needed. Andreas the manager shared locations for eating, coffee and purchasing groceries. Very good experience renting from Andrea and Wahida. They went above and beyond what I expected and made our stay special.

Pillows were harder than we like. Washing machine did not work well. Located on a busy street in Stone Town, it could be noisy if you are not used to traffic sound.
