Black Honey

It was absolutely fabulous in every way ! Chilled , very very clean , gorgeous room , fabulous food and coffee !!!! Lovely owners and staff . It was a lovely change to be situated in lush jungle away from crowds but still within walking distance of the beach .

Our welcome could have been better, the cafe was extremely busy and loud when we arrived. Maybe a reception desk with baggage hold as we felt like our bags were in everyone’s way.

The rooms have a lovely view overlooking green fields. It’s nice and tidy with a relaxing energy where you get away from the noise from the busy road.

This is the place to find tranquility and comfort. Loved the interior, the views, the bed and comfy pillows, the little kitchenette and the privacy since there are only 3 rooms in total. Great coffee too!

Very nice rooms with awesome interior and super clean. The room keepers are super friendly and made everything for a perfect stay. Really calm and nice neighborhood. Would come back any time!

Beware of Influencer-Mania … ;-) just kidding, but it can annoy ;-)

We had a wonderful time at Black Honey. The rooms are very comfortable and functional, and the view overlooking the rice fields is gorgeous. Very quiet despite being located above the cafe, and we loved retreating back to Black Honey away from the hustle and bustle of Ahangama town. Food and coffee some of the best in all of town, and the menu is not your run of the mill, standard offering. The owners are very hands on and always helpful. Also loved the on-site pool. Would happily stay here again.

It was clean and comfortable

It was way too expensive for what was on offer! Very remote location you could not get anywhere!in the middle of a rice paddy lots of mosquitos and The bathroom did not have a walk only a reed mat so all the mosquitos could come in through there. Staff were clueless! When i went to check out there was no management on duty so a bar staff member did the check out. For 100 dollars a night i expect breakfast! Everything was charged extra! I would never stay here again! Untried to cancel it but they never got back to me. Complete waste of money.

- only downside was that WiFi was not good
