The Rosemary Apartment

The location from Gunwharf and the space in the apartment.

It was a nightmare trying to find the actual building as no where did it say Rosemary apartments. We had to go into a local store to ask and luckily there was a student that heard us and offered to help. The key we were under the impression was at the main entrance but after many attempts we found it on the actual door of the apartment. The student had to let us in the main door as the key pad was unreadable. Once in the apartment we had to wash some bedding as there were blood stains on a couple of pillow cases. The sofa needs replacing and the beds were so squeaky and the train kept us awake.

Zero communication from the host to the point we were stuck outside with no access code to get in. We had to ask a tenant for the code.

Decent amount of space inside

Location, address didn’t give the actual address or the property! (Enterprise apartments) so we couldn’t find the block. Right in the middle of student accommodation blocks. Sofa was broken, and very tatty inside

It was a good size

In need of a deep clean, missing bedding, broken sofa bed and chairs. Very noisy, uncomfortable beds, quilt and pillows, no light filtering blinds/curtains.

Spacious flat, very clean. All was absolutely perfect.

The size

The location - it’s in a student block, which we didn’t know and weren’t told beforehand. The instructions on how to find and access the property were incomplete and inaccurate.

Not al all like the photos in terms of standard. The sofa was broken and uncomfortable. Needs replacing as all the springs gone. The sealant in the bathroom was mouldy. The appt is above the railway station and so the noise of the trains runs into the early hours of the morning. I would not recommend.

Close to where we wanted to visit. Size of the apartment was good. Beds were fairly comfortable although being metal frame they squeaked a fair bit

Noise from train station and self closing doors banging loudly, minor faults in the apartment such as mould around bath, no blackout curtains, a very uncomfortable couch and ultra small tv.
