Toque Hotel

Food in the restaurant was good.

There was a loud noises whole day. I was tired and tried to sleep but staff in lobby was talking loudly and watching TV on high volume. Not fair.

The staff is super super friendly and helpful! They always tried to help us as best as they could! We were allowed to hang around on the couches in the lobby until we went for our nightbus. Also the restaurant is decent and they offer convenient room service. Also there’s a water dispenser to refill bottles.

It was kind of complicated and took very long to shift the room we were first placed in. It had no windows and combined with extend hours of power failure (not the fault of the hotel) I went kinda depressed after a day. Somehow for Uber the place seems to be a bit off. Oftentimes we just weren’t picked or the drivers complained about the spot. If you want to move on foot and get to the city center you have to cross through a kind of sketchy mechanical area. For a mzungu it’s certainly an experience, but I wouldn’t recommend to pass through there when it’s dark, especially as a single woman. The price-performance ratio is okaaaay I would say (judging from a small backpackers wallet).

The staff is always helpful especially Esther at the reception,she was always there to offer any help I needed she really made me settle well

Location, electric shower hot, wifi wasn’t work all time and daytime was noisy surround.

The reception and all the staff in the bar below are very helpful, great people, feel very comfortable at the hotel ,the service is brilliant!! Thanks for everything
