Pensiunea Muntele Rece

We had such a great time at Muntele Rece. We were welcomed by the kindest, friendliest and most helpful host who made sure we had everything we needed, especially as we travelled with a baby. The place is very clean, with beautiful decor and furniture pieces and thoughtful corners for children to play. The room was also very pretty and spacious. Delicious food, generous and delicious breakfast. I know some people are put off by the fact that it's located next to a church and cemetery, but actually I found it very special, with a calm energy, and it's definitely not disrupting the view, quite on the contrary. All in all we had a great stay and we highly recommend! We hope to be back one day. .

All very good, could use some investment in the children playground area, a lot of families with children were there during our stay and i'm sure they could all benefit from a wider variety of things they could do.

Good tasty breakfast. The room was ok, green yard and nice terrace.

No electric socket near the bed. Only 2 sockets in the room placed near the floor. Portable air conditioner with hose going from it and out the room window. Improvised solution, also its great that they did put some conditioner, but it is messy like that. Shower is small and not comfortable. The service at the dinner was so slow. Although I made an order an hour before we wanted to eat, we still had to wait a lot. Although I explained the weiter we want the desert served together with the main dishes (because some if us only want the desert) it was still served 45 minutes after the main dishes were finished, and every time so. Although I said we only got 3 towels for 4 people and even those were not changed, although being on the floor, the next day towels were changed, but we still had to get along with only 3 of them.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay, from the great hosts that were willing to do everything for us and the kids, to the incredible food made with local ingredients and traditional recipes (not just the included breakfast, ask for the menu and try anything - it will be great) and the traditionally decorated room.

Can't say anything bad about the property.
