Garden apartment Vanya

Outside area lovely to eat breakfast in the morning sun and great to come back to in the evening. Kitchen had absolutely everything you need. Vanya picked us up from airport shuttle which was so good of him. Easy to walk into town and supermarket etc close by.

Split is a really big city with a rather small touristic center by the waterfront. The apartment is very well located, less than one km from the touristic center and also the beaches. The private and secure parking was convenient to leave our car while we did most of our exploration by foot. The apartment is in the half-basement of a small building meaning that the windows are a bit small but the terrace was great to hang out and cook dinner on the charcoal grill. The apartment was really comfortable and clean with a huge walk-in closet in the main bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped and also conveniently stocked (oil, vinegar, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper). There was also wine, beer, cola, and some chocolate for us, what a nice touch! The host was very friendly and responsive.

The only small downside was the noise level. The apartment being very close to a main street going downtown, there was a lot of traffic noise. However, with all the windows closed is was relatively quiet and fine to sleep.

One of the best accommodations I've been to on holidays: location, space, garden, all the amenities, and amazing touches from hosts, making one feel very welcome. Communication and support were also second to none.

Everything was excellent

Location is great. Only around 15mins walking distance to old town. Vanya is nice and helpful. He allows us to park the car earlier. His family is friendly too. All you need can be found in the apartment. A unexpected welcoming wine has been given by Vanya. Overall the whole stay is amazing.
