Pteas Kumae

The property is super central, only 5 minutes away from Pub Street & Night market. Loads of spa’s, restaurants & Cafe‘s close by too, and the hostel opposite offers free pool use and good coffee! The room is simple with a bed and a few clothes hangers, that’s about it.

The whole property is full of mosquitoes and the staff had to first go by the room door with an electric mosquito swatter before I could go in, since there was about 20 mosquitoes that would’ve gotten into the room otherwise. The room was still full of them every day. The bathroom also doesn’t have any shower doors so you basically take a shower right next to the toilet and all your stuff gets wet every time, however this seems to be quite common in Asia. Only cold water!

Lovely clean central. Close to everything. Five minutes walk or 1 dollar Tuk-tuk ride to pub street.

I was there 2 weeks, the hotel it’s not prepared for long stay, no table/chair, no fridge, no kettle. Single things to do long stays more confortable

The location was super good, close to everything but still on a quiet street. Super comfy rooms, great bed, good laundry service. Okay wifi. Overall, would definitely recommend!

No breakfast options. Staff was okay but not super helpful either.

The AC sounded like a lawnmower and was very feeble. My room was so hot!

Well the room was really good and the staff are the best, very polite and helpful Room was super clean, good AC, great room amenities and wifi was good too

Here are few things I didn’t like, 1- bed mattress is very firm, which is normal in many places in south east Asia 2- hot water wasn’t the best 3- the street outside the hostel was not in a good condition

The room is spacious with air conditioning and a nice view of the garden. Very clean and the towels provided smelled amazing. Great location only 10 minutes walking distance from the markets and many food options around. Very nice staff. Great value for money.

There is no elevator so if you have heavy luggage it can be challenging to climb the stairs. Except for that everything's good.
