I would have given top marks anyway for the cleanliness, the comfort, quietness, the location, the extra little touches like new wooden toothbrushes in the rooms! However the owner went over and above and located a lost item and sent it onwards with a minibus to another town after we had left. The communication was amazing and they were so lovely and helpful. What a brilliant place.

Exceptional staff, good facilities - especially for the price, very great location. Just around the corner is a bar with nice people and food. But nothing is far, all the interesting places are in a walking distance.

Actually, the hotel requires guests to take off their shoes before going inside - not inside a room, but inside the hotel. The staff does the same. It may sound strange but it makes sense to me in the local context and I agree with it easily.

Neat rooms

Some weird things going on about prices and availability. The manager was lying in our face about the availability of the room. The staff is really sweet, but not really competent. We were forced to leave the room the last day and had to find new accommodation, although the room was still available the moment we inquired about extending our stay. Be aware that extending your stay is basically impossible.

The place was clean and definitely good value for your money. Centrally located, and just far enough from Pub Street and other bars/clubs that there isn't a crazy amount of noise at night. The decor is minimal (perhaps event a tad too minimal) but tastefully done. I do understand they have just opened though and many improvements will be made over time.

There was an issue with electricity in the initial room I was given. It took around 20-30 minutes for the key card to power up the room. The staff had assured me it would be fixed while I was away from the room (for about 5-6 hours) but I returned at night to a completely dark room with nothing fixed. Which wasn't so pleasant considering I really needed to use the washroom. Ultimately they switched my room and everything was okay. But if it wasn't for this oversight I would have felt much more pleasant about my stay. Also, the towels in my initial room stunk after one use. This smell usually comes from laundry that is hang-dried improperly. I would suggest the place to get a dryer.
