Decker Daze Queenstown

We loved the quirky bus and communication was excellent!

This was a truly unique and fun experience! The red double decker has a rich history and everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The bus is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood with a mountain view. Victoria is a wonderful and very welcoming host! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an off-the-beaten-path experience! :)

Shower temperature was a little inconsistent.

Wow Decker Daze Big Red Bus!!! an excellent stay highly recommend. Host was warm & welcoming, location so relaxing & free parking alongside the bus. Shower was excellent!!! Top deck was brilliant!!! Loved sitting at the front, sitting on the middle leather sofa & also lovely the warm & cosy sleeping area at the back!!! Host Victoria even sorted a certificate to state that you have officially stayed at the only Airbnb double decker bus in New Zealand!!! Amazing!!! book the bus... it won't dissapoint!!! You will want to stay longer like I did...

A funky, vintage double decker bus located in Lake Hayes makes for a unique accommodation experience. Victoria is a friendly and communicative host with lots of ideas for us as tourists.

The double decker bus is located on the front lawn of the owner’s residential property. It has low ceilings, a narrow gallery style kitchen with a mix of 80’s style decor, carpets and bedding. The toilet/shower stall is very small.

It's a great idea and very quirky. Close to shops and restaurants. Host was very upbeat about the bus.

Obviously bus has been used to travel the world this is brought out in its design. If this bus is to be used as a top rated accommodation being the most expensive we have paid in a one month trip around New Zealand then we think the interior needs quite a lot of renewing and cleaning. Also bus was parked in front of owners home on a residential street bit strange.

The location was brilliant, nice and quiet, the host was awesome with great communication.

The novalty of staying in a double decker bus. Everything was provided for a relaxing stay, and it was close to the shops.

Loved the quiet area it was located and obviously the uniqueness of the accom itself! Very clean and well maintained, really cool spot

Not that I didn't like it but the shower was a little awkward, not that it can be helped hahah.

This was an amazing experience and the bus has literally everything you might need and more. Hot shower was amazing, Victoria is an incredible host and super sweet. We had a great time and then some! It is an old bus so we kept our expectations at bay but were surprised by how good, comfy and well equipped it was. My partner was shocked there was a bathroom! Great times, great value and an unique experience. Thank you Victoria and family xx

Brilliant place to stay. Very quirky, very clean, made to feel very welcome. Beats the usual room hands down for novelty. Also helps that this double decker originated from my home area in the UK. Thoroughly recommend.
