Decker Daze Queenstown

Wonderful stay at this new, unique accommodation in Queenstown. Friendly and helpful host who goes the extra mile (saw I had a teenager, so made space to set up an extra bed with some privacy; small light up Xmas tree; created a certificate of stay; offered assistance with a surprise bee visitor). Great cafe nearby. Good value and super comfortable. Be aware, shower and toilet are on a bus, so it's naturally going to be tight.

This vintage double decker bus was a fun and different place to stay close to Queenstown. The decker itself is spacious, comfortable and kitted out with everything you might need. The upstairs area offers a cosy lounge and a big bed that was comfy and warm, and the downstairs a well equipped kitchen and bathroom. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. It’s a great spot to stay and excellent value for money. This is a stay you’ll always remember.

Everything was perfect. The bus was much quieter and peaceful than any hotel I ever stayed in. It was a wonderful experience. I wish we could have stayed longer.

I’m honestly speechless. Vicky has created something truly extraordinary, and I feel so lucky to have been part of it in it's early stage. Staying in this old English bus has been the most unique and memorable accommodation experience I’ve had in New Zealand—hands down. The bed? Ridiculously comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom? Super functional and easy to use. And the vibe? Simply unforgettable. And no, it’s NOT cold at night (trust me, I tested it). If you’re looking for something out of the ordinary—something with charm, character, and a story—stop searching. You’ve found it. Honestly, I’d rent this bus long-term if I could. 10/10, highly recommend. You won’t regret it!

Unique and definitely a special experience. The hosts were super friendly and we felt very welcome. Of course a double Decker might not be an ideal place for a 190m tall person. But they made it possible even for me to shower without lowering down. Quiet neighbours

Quirky accomodations, beautiful hot shower. Victoria was very welcoming, kind & thoughtful. Special gifts for us, we’ll be no doing more zigging more than zagging 🤣😂 Victoria’s inside joke.

Bed was a bit firm for our liking, so Victoria nipped out and bought a mattress topper to make us more comfortable. She couldn’t do enough for us.
