Newclose Farm Cottages

We loved the countryside and hearing the chickens in the morning after they laid their eggs. The bed was very comfortable and the cottage cosy. The kitchen was very well equipped. Close to Yarmouth which had a lovely cafe and places to eat. A bus top within 5min walk was a bonus. Our host was very nice and was quick to reply to any of our questions and requests we had.

A few hooks in the bathroom would have been great but otherwise everything was fine and we would definitely stay again if visiting the island.

Nice cosy property and well maintained inside. Layout downstairs good for relaxing/cooking/eating. Good sized main bedroom with en suite and bed very comfortable (most important for a comfortable stay!).

Underfloor heating not always warming downstairs due to being on a timer I guess but weather mild for the time of year so not a real problem for us although might be for anyone staying later on in the year. Little bit untidy out front probably neighbouring property? We were rather confused about the recycling arrangements.

It is very quiet and has beautiful country view, facilities are good especially the kitchen. Wifi is fast, everything was great. There is even a lovely cat around the yard.

Hot water runs out after about 15 minutes in the shower so it's hard to have a long bath, but the water flow and temperature is very good.

Really lovely property. Very clean and comfortable.

Would have liked a holder of some kind in the shower for the shampoo etc.

Would be better if a choice of a bath, open plan kitchen, diner, living room to give more space

The host Kristina is very friendly and helpful. The location is very good and just a few minutes drive from Yarmouth. You have the entire apartment with all the necessary facilities. Highly recommend for families, a very good place to stay for a relaxing holiday on the island.
