Hotel GrandBach Sendai

Very warm welcome on arrival, our suitcases were wet from walking in the rain and staff member wiped them down for us. Smaller size room but very comfortable. Super comfy bed and pillows and lovely thread count bed linen, and very fluffy towels. A pianist plays in the lounge area where free coffee, tea, and juices and Japanese sweets are available in the afternoon. Would stay again and also recommend if you are visiting Sendai. It was only a short walk from the station too.

Location was good room was clean Toiletries were good The steam bath is good .

The room has a very bad layout and too cramped . The breakfast is limited to only 2 choices Japanese and western with no option for alternates vegetarian/vegan etc no cereals , no eggs to serve just a boiled egg . Worst still is that it needs to pre ordered at check in for specific timings. This was not mentioned at time of room booking and if known money can be saved as plenty of alternate choices around .
