Entire Apartment Tonbridge Centre

Close to centre of town. Above a coffee shop. Plenty of room. Quiet even though on the main road. Free and private parking at the rear of the premises, although a big vehicle would not be easily parked. Owner explained everything needed on our arrival. Had a few questions later which were attended to quickly. Friendly and helpful.

Very modern, clean flat, centrally located on high st, right next to a lovely tea room and shops. Owner very friendly and helpful.

Taifur the owner met us and was very helpful. The apartment was clean, modern and comfortable. Parking is also available but rather tight.

Tv tricky to get channels. Unfortunately there was no plug for the sink so very difficult to wash up and also a leak under the sink.

Other than drunks at night it was a great location and the property felt like being at home.

The high street is loud and I couldn’t use the oven as it had a label telling me not to.

We were met in the car park by the lovely Taifur , this was so nice that he was waiting for us after we had messsged to say we were 30 minutes away . Taifur took us up to the flat and showed us around and explained where every thing was and how things operated . The flat is above a restaurant and the entrance is behind the high street shops . It is accessed between the shops by a small passageway and there is a little cafe in the passage way . It felt very safe after dark . The flat furnished and decorated to a high standard, was spotlessly clean and it had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Even tea and coffee and sugar . The bed was a king size bed and it was very comfortable, there was also a fan for our use if we needed it , plus hairdryer. We were about a 1 minute walk to the high street .Great secure parking.

Struggled to get the remote to turn on the TV , but it didn’t really bother us that much but we told Taifur it maybe needed replacing and that’s the only thing I could say that was a negative point . A few people have commented on reviews that the carpet on the communal stairs up to the flat ( there are three flats ) needed replacing- well yes it’s a bit worn but it hardly impacts your stay and certainly not the fault of the flat owner.

I needed a cheap and cheerful place as central as possible with parking, WiFi and a separate room to work in - this place provided exactly that. I brought my own towel and glad I did as the one they provided was a little rough, I brought my own pillow but didn’t need to as the two pillows they provided were plump enough. The owner was extremely accommodating with earlier check in and later checkout and was really responsive - I couldn’t get the tv to work one night and after a text he was there and it was fixed within 10 minutes. This cost me less than a basic premier inn and I was as comfortable as I needed to be for this short stay. On the second night though the wall hanging sign from the shop next door was banging all night which wasn’t ideal, nothing to do with the accommodation itself but annoying nonetheless.

TV would not receive terrestrial channels. Rather basic accommodation in need of redecoration and better furniture. Lack of a dining table.
