South Bridge Apartment

The apartment is very nice and comfortable. It is in an excellent location for a stay in Edinburgh. The host of the property is very considerate and helpful with information about the property and all the arrangements, which I greatly appreciated.

Great location. Clean and tidy. Broken tiles in the bathroom covered up with vinyl, felt it could be dangerous. Eg water damage. Beds were comfortable enough. And 2 sofa beds. Very basic and old but served our needs. I would suggest some milk in the fridge for guests to have with the coffee and tea that was left, after a long journey we were very happy to see those supplies but no milk!!

Quite dated and old. Rough renovation done on it. The stairs leading to the apartment had a blown light which made it difficult to see getting up and down the stairs and we had an elderly woman with us who struggled getting up the stairs. No lift. There is a tv but only connected to wifi, meaning you have to have your own apps on your phone to cast to the tv. Eg Netflix Basically it is a monitor only.

Great location. Communication with the owner was really good and her directions made things easy.

The location is very good, right in the heart of Old Town. Great communication about practicalities.

It would have been nice to have two keys. Only one key was provided which took a little extra “coordination”.

Clean and airy

Bathroom shower curtain mouldy, cracked tiles. Stairs up to the apartment we're dirty and uninviting.

It was central and suited our purpose

People gathering at the front door but nothing we couldn’t deal with
