Sigiriya Rastha Hostel

I had a great stay at this Hostel, booked a Safari Tour with them (which went great) and really enjoyed staying in the midst of the jungle with them. Just keep in mind that it really is the jungle, so expect to use the provided mosquito net!

Geweldige plek om te verblijven! Je kan een kookles meevolgen en telkens erg lekker eten! Hij brengt je overK rond mer zijn tuktuk als je dat wilt. Zalig verblijf!

シギリヤでこれ以上素晴らしい宿はない。またシギリヤに来る事があれば絶対リピートします。 ドミトリーはツリーハウスの２階です。とても写真映えする建物です。せっかくシギリヤに来たなら都会と変わらないような高級ホテルに泊まるのではなく、こういう自然豊かな所に泊まったほうが全然良いです。 設備について⋯ドミトリーは５人部屋です。二段ベッドではなく木製のしっかりしたベッドで綺麗です。森の中なのでエアコンはないが７月の暑い時期でも扇風機で十分涼しい。蚊帳があり虫を気にしないで寝られる。各枕元にコンセントあり。ロッカーあり。トイレ、シャワールームも綺麗。シャワーはお湯は出ないが暑いので水で十分。水量も中々ある。排水溝がつまって流れないということはない。洗濯物を干せる場所あり。wifiも遅いがちゃんと繋がる。 周辺環境について⋯徒歩５分くらいに商店、パン屋、レストラン、バス停、ツアー会社あり。シギリヤロックは徒歩20分くらい。シギリヤは治安が良いので徒歩移動できる。宿のオーナーに言えばトゥクトゥクでどこへでも送ってくれる。 宿のオーナーについて⋯夫婦２人で運営している。２人共とにかく良い人。会うたびに快適に過ごせてるか声をかけてくれる。オーナーは普段トゥクトゥクの運転手、サファリガイドをやってるらしく昼間は宿にはいない。街外れで会った時は無料で町まで乗せてくれた。昼間はオーナーの奥さんが何でも対応してくれる。寝坊して10時頃おきた時にも奥さんが声をかけてくれてすぐに無料で朝食を用意してくれる。 追記⋯オーナーの誕生日会に参加させてもらってディナーをご馳走になった。もちろん無料。10人くらい集まって楽しい夜だった。 There’s no better place to stay in Sigiriya than this. If I ever come back to Sigiriya, I will definitely stay here again. The dormitory is located on the second floor of a treehouse—it’s a very photogenic building. If you’re coming all the way to Sigiriya, I highly recommend staying in a place surrounded by nature like this rather than in a luxury hotel that feels just like the city. Facilities: The dormitory is a 5-bed room. The beds are sturdy wooden ones—not bunk beds—and everything is very clean. Although there’s no air conditioning since it’s in the forest, the fan is more than enough to keep cool, even during the hot season in July. Mosquito nets are provided, so you can sleep without worrying about bugs. There’s a power outlet next to each bed, as well as lockers. The toilet and shower room are also clean. The shower doesn’t have hot water, but since it’s hot outside, cold water is just fine—and there’s decent water pressure. No issues with drainage either. There’s a place to hang your laundry, and while the Wi-Fi is slow, it works reliably. Surroundings: Within a 5-minute walk, you’ll find a small shop, bakery, restaurant, bus stop, and a tour agency. Sigiriya Rock is about a 20-minute walk away.

シギリヤではしょうかない事ですが、よく停電します。その間インターネットも全て使えなくなります。 シギリヤは野犬が多いです。狂犬病の発症率も高いです。シギリヤを歩く時は自衛用の木の棒を持ち歩く事をオススメします。 Power outages are quite common in Sigiriya, and unfortunately, there’s not much that can be done about it. During these outages, all internet services also become unavailable. Sigiriya also has a large number of stray dogs, and the incidence of rabies is relatively high. When walking around Sigiriya, it is recommended to carry a wooden stick for self-protection.

Es ist sehr einfach und das preisleistungs Verhältnis ist gut. Bett hat Mosquitonetz, Licht und Steckdose, Handtuch, Lage sehr abgelegen und ruhig, Familie sehr lieb und zuvorkommend. Frühstück sehr viel Und sehr gut. Auch das Abendessen mit Aufpreis war fantastisch. Er hat mich gegen Aufpreis auch zu verschiedenen Locations gebracht.

Das Badezimmer ist etwas ungemütlich
