Hotel Doruk

the facilities stated a fridge, but ours didn't work. Spoke to the staff and he said none of them work. We had no cold drinks at all over 3 days. when the room was cleaned they left small cup of water, during summer this turned hot within minutes. No sugar or milk left to make tea and coffee and when I asked for the smallest splash of milk- they charged me for it. I use half a teaspoon of milk per tea and they charged me for it. AC was below cool so quite a poor description

Pratique pour une nuit avant de partir en bateau. Le temps s est arrêté, clim bruyante. Personnel charmant.

The hotel is cute and cozy, the location is great next to the old town, bus stop and taxi stop. and the view is amazing.

The breakfast is very basic and minimal and it’s the same everyday. Also the staff didn’t speak good english at all so it was not easy to communicate.

Bon emplacement près de la marina. Personnel gentil, même si la communication en anglais était un peu difficile. Chambres propres, parfait pour un séjour de passage. Mention spéciale pour l’attention du départ : comme nous partions très tôt (6h), ils nous avaient préparé des sandwiches pour remplacer le petit déjeuner ,un vrai plus !

Chambres trop petites

Take good earplugs, the air conditioning made a terrible noise. The safe didn’t work, so I had to take some of my things with me to dinner and hide the rest in the room. When I came back, they were gone! I asked the lobby to check with the staff, but I just got the classic response: “Sorry, nothing was found.” This is the first time I’ve ever written this kind of review. I will not go back.

Location is super excellent! Especially if your room is facing Marina/ sea-view at highest floor. There is a sun-bed on a balcony. Minibar/ small fridge. There is a swimming pool surrounded by sun beds. Tea kettle. Glasses. Hair dryer.

Wi fi is very weak. Don’t postpone any booking through Internet while you have a signal. Otherwise it can be tricky, especially in late evenings. The staff has limited knowledge of English. My double room 302 would be very small for 2 people. Breakfast in the hotel costs more vs indicated by Booking.com. Safe box has an interesting system. To make it work you have to ask reception. Swimming pool starts to work very late from 10:30.
