Royal House

The host was very helpful and nice, he also arranged to pick us up from airport and he gave us a map of Catania and explained how to get to important sights. The accomodation.was very clean , quiet and breakfast was very lovely. Also close to transportation and walkable to city centre .We really enjoyed the stay and recommend the stay.

The Hosts' hospitality was great. He was very informative about the area and places to visit. The breakfast was lovely. The room was very clean and comfortable. Having the terrace was an added bonus. I would highly recommend staying here. With easy access to the centre of town and close to the busses and metro. It was excellent value for money.

The location is very close to the train station and bus terminal which served us well, but at some distance from the city center. Everything was very clean and well maintained and the owner very friendly and helpful.

Having read previous reviews about the area where Royal House is I was pleasantly surprised, certainly a little way out of the centre but an easy walk into Catania and the bus station was within two minutes and offered excellent services to Syracuse and other towns that were easy and cheap to use. Catania itself was beautiful and was the ideal location for our holiday. Giovanni is an excellent host, apologised for his English but honestly no need, it like the Royal House was very good. Breakfast was superb and served on a private terrace that did have a view of Etna and the room was of a high standard with a great shower and comfy bed. The area is quiet at night and we slept wonderfully. Giovanni helped with maps, directions to town and suggestions for excursions and arranged our tour of Etna. Can not fault a thing about the holiday or Royal House 😁

Having to leave is honestly the only bad thing

Great location. Room was clean and apparently recently renovated. Great shower. We had our private roof terrace where we had our breakfast. Breakfast was good with bread, variety of ham and cheese, yogurt, juice and chocolate croissant. Giovanni was very helpful and accommodating and gave lots of tips of sights. We really enjoyed ourselves. Lots of steps so not for immobile people.

Excellent breakfast on our private terrace with a view of Etna was amazing . Really comfy bed and pillows . Spotlessly clean and very helpful hosts .
