Laguna Biru Lembongan

The room was big and nice.Stuff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was tasty.

The location is far from everything. There is no beach nearby where you can actually swim.

We stayed at Laguna Biru for 2 nights and had very mixed feelings. While the staff was friendly and welcomed us with drinks, and the place itself looks nice at first glance, the reality was very different. Our first room was extremely small, dark, and lacked basic furniture like bedside tables or a trash bin. The ceiling fan was dangerously loose and unstable, the air conditioner barely worked, and every textile item — pillows, bedsheets, towels — was stained with what looked like blood, dead bugs, and other unidentifiable marks. We were moved to a bigger room the next day, but once again the bed cover had a large, very visible stain in the middle and few marks on the pillows. The worst part: while showering — fully soaped up — the water completely stopped. There was no water in the shower, sink, or even the toilet. We had no choice but to rinse off in the salty pool water. Later, when the staff “fixed” it, the water came back brown. It stayed brown through the evening and was still slightly discolored the next morning. To add to this, there are no meat options in the à la carte breakfast (not even chicken or sausage), but this is not mentioned anywhere beforehand. Also, there was no toilet brush to clean the toilet which is just very unhygienic. We really wanted to like this place — it has potential, and the staff responds when you ask for help. But it’s impossible to overlook how many basic things were off: cleanliness, the wi-fi kept disconnecting, broken or unsafe equipment, unreliable water, lack of clear communication, and misleading presentation of services. Everyone seemed to be trying, and they did give us a better room, but it honestly felt like a joke — we don’t understand how you can “try” and still give us another stained bed. We had to carry all our things ourselves, and in the end, nothing truly got better. These two nights felt less like a vacation and more like a test of patience.

Wonderful stay, looks mesmerising just like on the photos online, really well maintained - stunning garden, plants and the swimming pool. The stay was really comfortable, we stayed in the bungalow / double layer, it had a great super comfy bed, equipped with airconditioning in the room, mini bar and with towels, in the bathroom area you have it all including the natural outside experience. Super clean, loved the styling, you see there is love in this place. The breakfast was delicious and all the staff is super friendly ready to assist you with any questions or additional island experiences like manta diving, renting scooters, massages, bikes or anything else they are here for you. The communication is smooth and fast. Definitely will come back. Thank you so much Tarrega and all staff. You are amazing, thank you for making our stay memorable and wishing to come back.

there's nothing we didn't like.

We really enjoyed our stay at Laguna Biru. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, the specialty coffee was the best we had on the island, and the pool was often completely empty, which made it feel like our own private oasis. The lush garden setting is incredibly peaceful, and the staff were very friendly, kind, and very helpful.

The only downside was the noticeable smell of mice in our room. It might have just been our specific room, and we understand that being in the heart of nature can come with such things. Still, some small preventive measures could help improve guest comfort. Overall, it’s a beautiful and tranquil place—perfect for anyone looking to relax in a natural setting. We'd still recommend it for future guests.

The breakfast was so yummy made with lots of love. Ega was so helpful nothing was to much trouble he went above and beyond.

Unfortunately during our stay it rained quite a lot which made using our bathroom quite difficult unless you don’t mind getting wet whilst on the toilet .

We loved the staff at this hotel along with the amazing breakfast they made. The location was very close to Devil's Tear and Dream beach both within 5 minutes walking distance. The hotel had a very authentic feel and it was easy to travel around anywhere we needed.

While we were staying here, the owner arrived and she was not very friendly and did not say anything to us. Also, a little forewarning about critters such as large geckos having a possibility of getting in the rooms would have been nice to know before hand.

The breakfasts were amazing, friendly staff, beautiful rooms. Really enjoyed hanging out by the pool
