The owner and the chef were smashing people and we were comfortable in coming and going as we wanted. Our dog was made very welcome. Rooms were functional and beds were comfortable

The furniture in our room was very poor. The radiator cover was almost collapsed and the wardrobe was partially inaccessible because of it. There was a draw front completely missing from a bedside cabinet. Cleaning in the room wasn’t through and whilst the bedding was clean, the dust was thick and we found a pair of knickers down the back of one of the single beds as we moved it a little to accommodate the dog bed. Breakfast was excellent value.

The location was brilliant, the staff were pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was amazing

The bed was really uncomfortable and the bedding was marked quite a bit. The socket on the wall was hanging off which isn’t the best when you have kids in the room
