Amaya Beach Passikudah

Beachfront location but beach is full of corals. Friendly staffs. Dinner buffet is excellent. Loved seafood and local food. Breakfast is amazing too.

The staff seemed to be overworked. They did their best to serve the guests and were pleasant.

They had a lot of guests check in over the Vesak long weekend. They could have more staff to assist with the guests needs Our room wasn't cleaned even though we had the clean room sign. LP

The property is huge and was clean.

I was disappointed as they charged me for water and ice cubes.

If you want to relax with your family, Amaya Beach Pasikudah is the place to be. We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed every moment. The hotel has a very peaceful atmosphere, beautiful beach surroundings, and everything you need for a relaxing family vacation. It is the perfect place to disconnect, enjoy the sea, spend quality time with the kids, and simply slow down. The beach is beautiful, the pool area is very enjoyable, and the whole resort gives you a calm and comfortable feeling. The staff were kind, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made our stay even better. For families looking for comfort, relaxation, and a memorable beach stay in Pasikudah, I highly recommend Amaya Beach. It was exactly the peaceful ending we needed for our Sri Lanka trip.

la plage en face de l'hôtel n'est pas la meilleure ..mais il y en a une à quelques centaines de mètre sans coraux ..sinon il faut penser à prévoir des chaussure de plongée si vous voulez vous baigner en face de l'hôtel ! les repas sont corrects mais nous on est refait 9 jours donc après quelques jours on mangeait à peu près la meme chose..je trouve que c'est pas assez varié ..mais bon je comprends par soucis 'économie et la demie pension n'est pas chère donc je ne me plains pas ..si j'avaispayé plus chère cela aurait été un problème !

Horrible food options - and beach was very rocky had to walk to the public beach which was full of people wasnt a vibe. The AC wasnt cooling much at night. Drinks menu also limited - things ran out like diet coke, coconut water.

Amaya Beach Pasikudah has a very nice atmosphere, especially around the bar area, which was one of the highlights of our stay. The resort was clean and well-maintained throughout.

The beach is not ideal for swimming but is better suited for snorkeling. The pool is more geared toward children than adults, so those looking for a larger adult-oriented pool may be disappointed. One area that could be improved is the reception experience. Check-in starts at 2 PM, but considering that many guests arrive after a 6-hour drive from Colombo Airport, having to wait several hours in the lobby was not the best first impression. The food quality was good, but many dishes were extremely spicy, which may not suit all guests. Overall, a pleasant stay with a great atmosphere, but there are a few areas where the guest experience could be enhanced.
