BEThe room itself with a balcony at the back is really nice. I was in another room not the one shown on the piictures but still nice. Confy bed, clean bathroom. The parents of the owner are sweet and very helpful people.
No AC and the fan was super noisy. The location is really outside of the center. I was unlucky that I came during religious festivities causing heavy traffic in whole center. Would have appreciate to be told by the owner about this little but important detail. When I asked him about it he said he was not sure Im comibg as you dont have to pay upfront. Lame excuse as if I was not coming I would have cancelled the reservation. The place is difficult to reach by tuktuks if you want to book via PickMe App or Uber. One way trip can easily cost you 700/800rupees (not 300 as I was told by the owner). So if you dont plan to rent a bike, think twice. I would not stay here knowing this. What I was however really disappointed by was the lack of communucation from the side of the owner. He was to book a tuktuk for me as I was leaving very early in the morning but he was unreachable on the phone. Many thanks to his parents for getting up at 5am to check if I managed to connect with their son and for arranging an alternative solution for me to bring me to the railway station so early. Despite the many positive reviews about him, my experience has been different. So dont rely fully on what you read here or on google reviews.

DEWe had a wonderful stay at this place! Sri and his parents were amazing and made us feel very welcome. We especially appreciated the great tips the host gave us for exploring the city and discovering excellent restaurants. The room was cozy and well-equipped, but the real highlight was the stunning balcony with a view of the jungle. The breakfast was delicious and the perfect way to start the day. The hot shower after a busy day was a real treat. We highly recommend this homestay and would definitely return!

USThe room was exceptionally clean and the staff was very helpful from the beginning of my booking. They provided me suggestions for exploring the town and even helped me book a train ticket. I felt very comfortable and welcomed the entire time.
DEThis place of Sri and his family is a truly hidden gem. So much love and calm you will find there within a truly authentic local experience. Highly recommend to stay there. We just stayed on night unfortunately but everything was truly amazing. Lovely host, communication, incredible breakfast and the room/house is in such a good calm nature area, still close to the city if you want to experience kandy.
