Rotorua Forest Getaway

Awesome location. It was great to be in a ‘home’ with the family together. Close to town and the mountain bike trails.

Kids loved the fireplace!

Pretty practical and well equipped. It was nice to have the coffee machine and coffee provided, extra towels and things like cooking oil are all helpful. The sofa was really nice and comfy for an air b n b and good set up with the tv. The bathroom was spacious. Well equipped kitchen (apart from their being no dishwasher, but it worked ok). Close to the forrest and dog park which was great for walks and a short ride to the trails on e-bikes.

It would be nice to have some outdoor furniture to make the most of the sunny days (and some more pegs for the washing line). The neighbourhood was a little bit rough - there was quite a bit of yelling from neighbours. Also, very sulphur-y - even for Rotorua. It was pretty hot in the bedrooms and made it hard to sleep - but if we opened the windows at night the smell from the geyser a short distance away. Maybe another air conditioner or some fans would have been helpful.
