Nothing to like

On entry we where welcomed by an aggressive dog growling and barking at us with no one in the property to control it. the common spaces where a mess and looked like a dose house. We couldn't stay as we have allergies to dogs When tried to contact staff got no answer to messages or calls

The owner absolutely lovely very polite and welcoming the house is extremely tidy

The property has a good location and close to city centre

Me and my husband are not happy staying in this property. I informed the host that we wanted to check in early because we had luggage and backpacks with us. When I called him, he confirmed that it was okay to come early. However, he only sent us the house code at 4 PM. Also, the property has 4 bedrooms sharing only 1 bathroom and toilet, as well the host is residing in that house, which was very inconvenient for us.

The room was dirty,the glass cups were dirty.Yhey advertised coffee but didn't supply any.There was no parking permit.The kitchen was full of laundry clothes so nowhere to put plates to eat I left the place after two days despite paying for 4 nights. I used the place last year but it has really gone down.

Upon arrival my partner and I were surprised to find that a dog permanently resided in the property downstairs, as this was not stated in the description of the property. Parking permits were said to have been provided downstairs, my partner and I searched all over in draws and cupboards but no parking permits where to be seen. We attempted to get in touch with the owner that evening but no luck. The night took a worsened turn when my partner and I work woken by one of the other residents staying in the house in the room next to ours. At about 2.45am my partner and I were woken in HORROR to shouting, groaning and bizarre noises from downstairs in the hall way. One of the other residents was performing very anti-social behaviour downstairs, from what we heard and could interpret from the disturbances was that the dog was being abused, we could not tell whether he had let anyone else in the house either but this carried on for about 45 minutes to an hour before he settled. We were petrified, frozen in our bed prepared to leave the property or call the police. The room was just suppose to be a bed for my partner and I for two nights just for us to come in the evening and wind down but it couldn’t even be described as that. It was a completely disturbing visit. In which we tried the whole next day to get in contact with the owner, nothing. Until the next day when our keys where to be collected he finally called, we told him about our experience and about how we had to book a hotel because of how uncomfortable our stay was, he showed no concern towards our comfortability, the dog or our visit. Did not offer any sort of refund or resolution. And after the visit only automated messages were sent to us. We stayed here April 2026 16th to the 18th.
