Alver House

It wasn't clear when booking that the hosts would be in the property. However, they were very friendly and didn't really matter to us as we were going to be out most of the time we stayed.

Misleading post. Paid more for Jacuzzi however turned out it was in a shared bathroom for everyone’s use. Place was under renovation and smelled like mould.

The fact that people were smoking drugs and playing Load music when we arrived at 0130 in the morning, all within the house. That the bedding was stained. We didn’t actually stay because it was that bad.

I had brought my own breakfast cereal which was easy for me to have while I was in.my room. Providing my own breakfast helped me to save some money instead of getting it from the shops. I prefer to eat what I cook than from restaurants.

Nothing. The environment was good

I did like the room and bathroom as well. Even though the radiator in the room did not work,the house itself was warm enough in January. I was pleased by the kettle and coffee in the room. Very good value for the price.

Thin walls, but this is a standard in UK.
