NZOne of the best stays I've had from booking.com. Moonlight escape was absolutely magical. Stunning views, delicious breakfast, super comfy beds, spacious room and a great hot tub. Juliet and David absolutely exceeded expectations. I would highly, highly recommend moonlight escape!!

The drive is quite steep we had an AWD vehicle and it struggled at one point. Not sure if that was just us being unfamiliar in how to approach the driveway.

USSuper Amazing host David and Juliet. Made sure we had everything we needed and more. Went out of their way to make breakfast that catered to Gluten allergy. Down to earth and amazing people who run a clean, comfortable and beautiful Lodge. Cant thank them enough for all their recommendations on local food and activities as well as just being warm friendly good people.

DEThe hosts Juliet anf David were amazing and very accommodating, breakfast was delicious, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable, we loved the hot tub for star gazing, we’d stay again in a heartbeat.
Our room on the top floor got really warm during the day because of the sun. During the colder nights it got better. If you want to sleep with the window open, bring insect repellent (that applies to all of NZ).

GBThis was an absolute highlight of our trip. Juliet was a fabulous host - so generous and helpful. The lodge is beautiful and all the little touches make the world of difference. Lovely rooms. Great idea to have abooking system for the hot tub. Breakfast was a 3 course affair - fab. We had in in the dining room one morning and in our room the next morning. Bed was incredibly comfy amd we both slept so well. A perfect stay

AULoved the spa!! The room and view was incredible. The breakfast was very delicious and staff were the best.
Ubers found it difficult to locate as it doesn’t come up on their map, make sure you send them directions and guide them the way home as well.
