Just Heaven Apartments

3 nights I spend in the room Princess (apartment with seaview, 20 m2 including full kitchen and private bathroom). 1 night at 2 bedroom apartment with oceanview and balcony Royal (115 m2 including full kitchen and 2 large bathrooms) The place is new and fresh and so beautiful. I totally recommend it. So many nice details: -I love: free laundry service (so helpful, so nice to have clean clothes again) -solar light in room (for when power cut) -lovely Inaya Zanzibar showergel and shampoo (coconut-lime) -my room had a kitchen, with plenty of pots and pans, cutlery and even coffee, teabags, salt and pepper -the mosquitonet is bigger than the bed, so do not worry it will not touch your body at night -the ceiling fan has many settings (up to speed 6 and you can even turn around which way it goes ) -airconditioning -safe (use with key) -very comfortable bed, sheets and pillows -beach beds and traditional umbrella -they provide beach/swim towel The staff are so welcoming and always smiling and willing to help. Breakfast you can fill the digital form the day before what you want to have, there is so much and big portions too. Also what time you would like to have it. There are many things I can not eat (like gluten and milkproducts) so they made somethings especially for me. A shared space is being created and guests will be able to enjoy the rooftop area later this year.

The host and his team are excellent. Ignacy was very kind and helpful and made my daughter’s birthday super special. He organised a cake and we had songs in polish, Swahili and English! A truly international and special celebration. The added benefit of having his team organise transport and tours at very affordable prices was extremely convenient and we felt cared for at all times. The apartment is also extremely comfortable and with all the modern conveniences/ appliances. Perfect for a self- catering option and for family groups. To top all of this, the sunrise was directly in front of the apartment. Overall a great stay made extra special by the host.

The road to the property was a bit hair- raising but is under construction and already greatly improved by the time we departed

Just Heaven Apartments were heavenly! The apartments are located on a pristine, snow white beach just a few steps away from the water’s edge. Our apartment was clean, comfortable (beds) and well equipped with new modern appliances. The Kibwana Dive Centre is right next door and the fish market is 50m down the beach. A breakfast service was introduced during our stay. It was generous, tasty and definitely worth it. Water sport/activities are available along the beach and offered by the local people at negotiable rates. These include diving, snorkeling, guided reef walks, fishing etc. My favourite was snorkeling with the dolphins. Day trips to anywhere on the island can be arranged by the staff. These include Stonetown, Prison Island, the Spice Farm, sunsets on Kendwa beach etc. A swimming pool is on the cards and this will be the cherry on the cake.

We missed a pool but are excited about the prospect of a pool next time we visit as plans are on the way.

The property is located at a pieceful area of Zanzibar Island. Just really a few steps away from the ocean! Matemwe is a place, where you can enjoy the local culture , the ocean, but not disturbed by many tourists. My Apartment was really spacious, specially loved the fancy bathroom. The owner really took care of the small details, and the practical side. I would like to rate the cleaness for 10/10. Because the staff really took care of the privacy , arrived for cleaning just once you agreed. And fulfilled any extra wishes (like they arranged me fresh coconut …haha) Oh and the laundry service (in price included) a big hit! I was informed in advance that the Apartment complex is under construction. But did bug me at all. Also I got some sweets as a compensation for the noise. Also I was happy to take part: they started to provide breakfast during my stay. It was not included before. Brekki was every day smthing different, delicious and so official: you ordered it from an online template. Just can not wait to visit them in 2026 , to see the final result, swimming pool included :)

The entrance to the apartments is a bit of a walk across the village.

“Fuutball is life”❤️ Every evening, 2 hours before the sun sets, the whitest beach I’ve ever seen is transformed into football fields as far as your eyes can see. You are invited to watch all these games from your porch or balcony while the setting sun changes the colours of the ocean. We - my future wife, her sister and my self - were fortunate to be welcomed by the staff and owner family to a true heaven with children from the neighbouring village playing just below our porch. The commitment of giving you as a guest an optimal experience was present 24/7 - literally. We will come back and enjoy this hotel’s journey towards… Kamila and Ignacy, together with their wonderful staff are on a journey, full of ideas. Can’t wait to what’s in there when we visit again. And again.

Specious room, kind friendly and accommodating staff and managed by the owners. Property very clean and comfortable. Unexpected quality when viewing from the entrance road but it is a new building, still undergoing some construction. We had new and fresh towels and bedding . I highly recommend this property. We would come again :)
