Great location with walking distance to many historical sites. Onsite parking was a great option. Definitely recommend.

The location is amazing for getting around Catania. The roof terrace is truly a highlight of this apartment – the views are incredible. We loved the interior design too, the medieval feel of some of the furniture and the Sicilian folklore theme is really cool. It felt really safe and private because the apartment is at the very top of the Palazzo. It was such a unique stay and I'd definitely recommend it. REALLY good value for money when we stayed here in Feb 2023. Our host met us on time at the entrance and showed us how to access the home. Great communication.

Not that it mattered at all for us (because we were eating out so much) but if you wanted to use this for self-catering all your meals it wouldn't be ideal. The kitchen area is split in two and is tiny with quite limited facilities – just a warning for people looking for a long-term stay. People with accessibility issues also must be aware that the bedroom is on the upper floor of this apartment and can only be reached by a spiral staircase without a handrail. To get to the apartment, you have to take a small lift from the ground floor of the Palazzo, which only goes as far as the 3rd, then follow more flights of stairs up to the apartment from here. The steps up from the bedroom to the roof terrace are also very low in terms of height, so tall guests need to be careful here as well! Our host let us know about this when we arrived though :) None of these things caused problems for us, but wouldn't recommend booking this home if you're bringing bulky, big luggage or have mobility issues. For a city traveller's break for a few days though, it is more than ideal.
